Had a pretty decent weekend, relaxation-wise, but a pretty bad weekend productivity-wise. Spent a bit of yesterday with zanzjan and the brood, which was fun. Little Pumpkin Muffin is more like giant Pumpkin Muffin! If he continues at this rate he's going to be tall enough to drive by the time he's five. Even Eldest Child is only now about 3 inches shorter than her mother and I, and she's not even 12 yet! We all did some shopping and then had some dinner. Before I met up with them I did a little mom-shopping, but nothing terribly exciting.

And now I wish I could remember what, exactly I did with today! I think it involved the Internet. Some baseball. Vague teevee watching. A scan through Entertainment Weekly? Eating. Reading a wee bit? It's all a soft blur...

...sort of like my new user icon! I realized I never post any pictures of me with my hair down, so I made an icon using a picture I took last month and the charcoal and chalk filter in PS. I have no idea why I'm now bluish, I never usually use filters. I might change it. But hey, it smooths out the rough bits, and isn't that what photo manipulation is all about?

My weekend was also a washout productivity-wise; we had my brother-in-law staying and I yielded to the temptation of going out and doing things. Today I should have been working, but I seem to have spent the morning doing household and garden tasks and now I'm on LJ... what's wrong with me?

That's a great new icon! Somehow, your glasses look different in it. I think it's just because of the filter and whatnot, but if you're ever in the market for new glasses, black rectangular frames would look totally kick-ass on you.

I dunno, Tracy seems to be pulling off her black frames, but she has a nice thin face. My moon face definitely calls for rectangular, but black? with my normal non-blue coloring? I dunno...
