llcoolvadLess pretty than my previous post (but certainly interesting), a compare and contrast. Here's the forsythia tree in my driveway May 1, 2007:
And here's the same tree (taken with my iPhone, so not as good quality, sorry) one year later, on April 20, 2008:
Something has gone horribly wrong, here. I think it must be my bumbling landlord. My guess is he cut it back at the wrong time of year? Anyway it never bloomed beyond this. Sadness! It's all green now, though, so I guess it's not dead. I hope the blooms come back next year!
