A photo of mine got selected to be included on a digital travel guide representing the Stone Zoo. It's kinda flattering, although the cynic in me realizes that the company is getting some kind of revenue somehow, and not paying me anything for my pretty content (they of course asked my permission, however).

The picture they're using is my puma shot.



I had never heard of Schmap before they contacted me, have any of you? I guess you can download city packages for free. Even the entire world! And when you click on my little picture on their site, it takes you right to my photostream on Flickr, so that's cool!

Yep. I've got some photos on Schmap. I wasn't going to earn anything on them, so I figured the exposure was worth it.

Yeah, I just figured why not? The other place I managed to get a photo was on a book cover the Boston Globe put out for kids going back to school. It was a picture of my Harry. It was about an inch tall, and surrounded by hundreds of other pix of kitties and doggies. Am I famous yet?

I was recently asked if a photo from my Flickr stream could be used as an illustration of "a blogger at work" in a presentation a university professor was giving to her students. However, I am merely the subject of the photo, not the photographer... that was J.

A better title might have been "a blogger at home, frantically avoiding doing anything useful".
