playing hooky is good!

After spending my day off yesterday cocooned in my bed watching movies and feeling sickish, I woke up today and decided I needed another day away from work. I didn't really play hooky, but I probably COULD have worked if I had to...I just really wanted to give my hands another day off (bad bad carpal tunnel, been wearing my braces all weekend) and make sure my sinus infection is truly gone. So I called in to work, went back to bed, then slept until 1:30!

When I woke up I felt about a million times better, so since it was a beautiful sunny day I headed out with my good camera over to the Middlesex Fellsway Reservation. It's all around this area, and only about 2 miles from my house — today I was on the Fellsway West side, I think at the Sheepfold Parking Area. As soon as I got there I wished I'd gotten up earlier and put on sensible boots. The sun was getting pretty low, but I managed to get a few shots:

Well, see above Re: sleeping until 1:30. Then I just wandered around the reserve for about an hour, then I did shopping and went back home. WAY fun. Aren't you sad you missed it?
