I haven't done an obsessive list recently, so naturally I'm due.

Instead of crowing about how damned productive I have been, this time I need to whine about all the things I really need to do and haven't:

Work
Get rollout of T-C project accomplished ASAP! It's totally ready, just hit "SEND" for god's sake. (i hit send!)
Finish writing table training materials; send a copy to Euro guy (done & sent to euro guy)
Finish template project, get everything ready to roll out to company
Get training sessions for T-C project scheduled
(done)
Work on images database, since it's been pending for a really long time.

Home (general)
Wash all floors (hallway & kitchen done)
Wash all curtains throughout house
Organize kitchen a little better (1 drawer and shelf done! now need to do breadbox area and other 2 shelves)
Organize pantry a lot better
Clean out fridge again (sigh)
Clean out freezer
Thorough bathroom cleaning
Wash couch slipcovers and pillow covers; vacuum all three two couches totally (living room couch & chair done)
Move mom's files off old computer onto new
Switch around equipment to give mom better DVD player in her room
Put bookcases back into hallway, be sure to wash bookcases thoroughly and dust/vacuum all books
Dust and vacuum living room
While putting books back in bookcase, weed collection! Convince mother it's ok to recycle old tech manuals because NO ONE WANTS THEM!!
Also tackle other bookcase that has tech manuals. Silently curse father for buying so many damned tech manuals.

Home (me specifically)
Clear off desk (it's really ridiculous) (It's started! almost finished!)
Find a home for all stray computer parts (hard drives, cards, cords, power bricks, etc.)
Go thru large boxes of papers, throw out / shred a lot
Sort the rest including filing cabinet (7/19 started! 7/25, more progress, 7/30 most progress yet!)
Put into new, organized boxes of papers & emptier filing cabinet
Put now-smaller organized boxes of papers back into storage
Get floor lamp for couch area (found a nice one in basement, cleaned, put in fluourescent bulb; am now contemplating rewiring and replacing socket and getting new lampshade.)
Finish magazines and recycle
Organize my computer files between the two computers and three external hard drives (eep)
Update DVD, CD, and MP3 spreadsheets; book spreadsheet already done (all done, yay! even updated wishlist)
Rip all unripped cds to mp3s
Clean up mp3 files so they display nicely in pod; also get artwork for every cong/CD
Create list of concerts attended based on stubs in box
Enter all books, including ones in storage, into LibraryThing account by bringing laptop to unit, record ISBNs into already-existing book spreadsheet, can then enter those into LT at home

Entertainment
See Die Hard
See Potter
See other movies, pref. not written for 14-year-olds (saw The Simpsons, Casino Royale, An Inconvenient Truth, Sicko, Bourne Ultimatum, Stardust (awesome!) and Sunshine (awesomer!))
Watch, and then return three one Netflix movie; now two more
Buy new Potter, read immediately!
Read approx 35 books hanging around unread (32 now) & write all reviews
Watch rest of last season of Lost & delete off Tivo (done! and so good!)
Speaking of TiVo, buy new one while deal still on! Which means THIS WEEK!  (It's here! It's here! Shiny!)
Give Gaiman movies back to Dave
Find tapes, and then watch the rest of Deadwood from last season
Watch the rest of The Wire from last season (6 down, 7 to go) (this is the best show on television!)
Watch entire season of The Riches that have on iPod
Watch all of Dead Like Me season 1and then return to Nicole

Creativity
Post all remaining pictures on Flickr (only about a year behind!)(Started)
Add Amazon links to [profile] greenstreetbks reviewed titles? Maybe B&N or Powells?
Take more pictures; more experimental, less cats
Open another photo account for posting to LJ, leave Flickr for better pix, other account for silly/list type things

Other
Go mattress shopping, maybe buy
Look at cars, but probably don't buy
Renew passport
Stop forgetting Jenn's present, dumb-ass!
Look for second job? Maybe library job. Not teaching next semester, should do something with time
Figure out another week to take off from work. Only used 2.5 so far, still have 3.5 weeks left!

Health...Now we enter the land of make-believe!
Make doctor's appointment; remind him of who I am, since it's been so long; endure his patient bland lecturing
Get Rx filled
Join gym
Hahahahahaha!
Figure out how new insurance works, because have had one plan for about 13 years and am now forced to change and am bitter (Started reading new materials)

Pets
Make appointment for Harry for checkup (sched for mon aug 6)
Take Harry to vet

Refill Harry's Rx
Get all Harry's new RX; cut pills down

There. My brain is now empty and I can sleep.

Plus, we need to get together sometime. I have a present for you. (-:

Was the new Die Hard worthwhile?

Die Hard: Yes, sorta, and no. It was fun and xplody, but John McClane wasn't as chatty/goofy as in, say, the first one. He still looks pretty good! But there were plot holes the size of Volkswagens, and there were even a couple of poorly edited parts (really surprised me -- you spend all this money filming and you don't stitch bits together well?).

Having Justin Long (the Mac on the Mac and PC commercials) be the sidekick was fun. And in reality it was all fun. It was just so reality-bending at the end that I had a hard time not rolling my eyes. There's dying hard, and then there's superpowers...

Oh, darn, you saw Die Hard without me! :)

Has your Mom's a/c been put in yet? I think that's on the list of things you need to get me to do.

I think she's going to procrastinate herself into autumn...

I was just kidding. I followed the series at the beginning... but I missed one episode so I didn't botehr to keep watching. It looks like it was getting stupid anyway....

Mmm, book list.

Mmm, cat pictures.

I like how this list is so much more emotional than mine. Perhaps adding a few "dumb-ass!" remarks to my list would help. Like I still haven't gotten rid of my old car after, uh, years. And my mechanic had the title because he thought he could sell it, but then he retired, so now I don't have my title either. I should try sending him a self-addressed stamped letter (his phone doesn't get answered). Then just go to the government and see what I have to do. Probably pay more than it's worth to get a new copy.

Yeah, I must berate myself because some things are just too dumb for words; the procrastination costs me more energy than the doing would. Dumb-ass!

And did your retired mechanic sell the biz to someone? They might still have your title in a filing cabinet somewhere. Worth stopping by!

Stopping by doesn't help. Well, it didn't months ago. You just slide your key under the door like always and then when you call the next day you find out it's all over. Then you're glad you have a spare key at home and go find another mechanic.
