Ok, it's coming from between the facia and the gutter, this means the gutter or downspout is blocked for one. It's in full sun, so I'm going to guess leaves are involved. For another, since it is coming from between, the flashing isn't correct to get all the water in the gutter, and it also very likely that the facia board is rotten through already and you're working on getting damage inside the walls. You're renting, right? :^)

Oh yes, renting all the way!

And has anyone told you you take the poetry out of things? :-)

More than a few, yes. Don't take it personally, as a homeowner, you get sort of hypersensitive to these things. Water and where it goes is pretty much the root of all evil as far as longevity of wood structures is concerned. Knee jerk reaction and all that, whot?

Sorry I took some of the levity out of your pretty sparkly bit of frozen sunshine. I'll try not to let it happen again. :^P

Another view (http://www.flickr.com/photos/thensheappeared/100721896/). I'll let my landlord know what you said, since he's a nice guy!
