For those of you who have

greenstreetbks on your FL, I apologize for the flood of entries! I write them in NoteTab and keep them open on individual tabs until I post them. I hadn't actually taken the time to log out here and log in there until tonight. Now if I can just finish the other 30 or so books I have bookmarks in, I'll be happy!

Haven't got much more done recently; tons of laundry, a bit of tidying, but no major cleaning. I had to work my way through the pre-surgery questionnaire. It's all stuff like "Your tumor and you!" which was a little disturbing but I managed to get through it. Some stuff I just don't know, like anything about my paternal grandmother. Dad's not around to ask, of course, and Mom doesn't know. I guess it really doesn't matter anyway.

Got some good news. Re-read my benefits package and it looks like my surgery will be covered by Short Term Disability after all. Because it's inpatient surgery, it kicks in immediately after I'm admitted. So that's pretty keen. I get to keep my PTO (paid time off)! And I get paid 100% of my salary for up to two weeks, then 60% after. I don't think the recovery will take more than a week, really, but that leaves a nice cushion.

OK, bored with health stuff. Sam is sitting in his usual spot, in between me and the keyboard. He wants me to cuddle him just about 100% of the time I'm home. It's terribly cute.
