White Christmases are overrated!

We've gotten something like two feet of snow in the last seven days, over the course of three separate storms. I am eternally grateful to my swell landlord for his snowblower and his patience.



This was from the Sunday storm, taken on my way to work on Tuesday. I didn't take any pictures today because the sky was iron gray and dreary. Snow pictures are sad unless there is sun to balance it, don't you think? Although the branches of every tree were frosted white, so that was very pretty.

That tree's bark is so dappled, it's like it's camouflage. Camouflaged tree...that would be more like a tree wearing pants, I guess.

It looks beautiful to me. I don't know what it's like to have a white Christmas, so I like photos of snow.

Yes, you're right, it is beautiful! And when I was a kid I loved it with a passion. There were many snow forts and snowball fights, I assure you!

I guess I'd just like a little less exuberance on the part of nature this year, that's all!
