Ha! It would be hard for me not to anticipate the Christmas trauma, since she does it almost every year. Just today she said "I'm only getting you a few things, because that's all I can afford!" after saying last week "we're not exchanging gifts this year." By the end of this week, possibly the beginning of next, she'll want to know if my wishlist is up to date, and what clothes I want. Sigh.
Mind you, I'd be REALLY FINE with not exchanging gifts. Really!
