tra la la

I feel a little unmoored today. I haven't done much the last few days beyond work, read, nap, watch tv, eat. And while those are all worthy endeavors, they're just not doing it for me right now. I spent today dithering about what to do with my day off, and before I knew it, it was pretty much over. I actually drove all the way to a movie theater, intending to see the Liam Neeson flick, and then meh-ed my way back home. Too rainy and cold out. Just wanted to hide under my covers. Did so.

Watched the Oscars last night. What a snooze-fest! James Franco was half-dead (or stoned, or too cool for the room, or something). His twitter feed was hugely active, though! LiveTweeting from the Oscars is cute, but maybe the actual show deserved a little attention. Anne Hathaway was game, and her thirty costume changes tried really hard, but ultimately the only bright moment of the night was Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr. presenting something. I have no idea what, because they were so dazzling it was hard to think.

Hung out with P Saturday night, got some food, watched some bad tv, mostly chatted. Was good. Hung out with Brian on Sunday. Mostly we hung out in the house, due to WEATHER, but went out and got a few things done. Was also good.

THANK GOD February is now officially over. Maybe things will be brighter!
