Dec. 5th, 2009 06:31 pmI am sad that livejournal seems to be dying of ennui. I post frequent updates to facebook, but I never seem to update here anymore, and I don't seem to be alone in that. So here's an entry! How's it working so far? Good, right?
Life proceeds apace. Random November things:
The rest of December will be a mixture of "AAAAAHHHH! So much to do before the new year!" at work, and "AAAAAAHHHHH! So much to do before Christmas!" at home, which is good. Busy is always good. Then I'll get the nice long break to (I hope) relax some. I have many things I still want to do! Thinking of going to see They Might Be Giants in Northampton for New Years, assuming the tix haven't sold out. Gotta get on that and decide.
Ok, there's an entry. Doing my part to keep LJ alive. Woo!
Life proceeds apace. Random November things:
- We have determined where the Christmas tree can be wedged into the living room. Now just need to buy it!
- The cat is still alive.
- The other cats still hate him.
- I have been sort of haphazardly emptying out the storage unit a couple of boxes at a time. I pulled up my book inventory just to see how many more books are still in storage and I kinda want to cry now! So many!
- We have two more meetings of our Illustrator class and I have learned some things.
- We've made a bit of progress on starting our freelance business.
- I stopped going to physical therapy. Feel better.
- I am approaching my 10-year anniversary at my job (about one month from now). Not sure how I feel about that! Maybe I really need to make "explore new job opportunities" a New Year's goal.
- I subscribed to the Boston Globe for a Thurs-Sun sub, and after reading it assiduously for several weeks now I'm thinking I'll switch to just Sundays. Seriously, paper, you're just not that interesting!
- Thanksgiving was fun, had
zanzjan and her brood over, and
p_j_cleary came over for dessert.
slipdragon did all the cooking, and it was delicious.
