Aaaaaaaahhhhh!!!
Feb. 1st, 2009 05:11 pmSo NICE outside today! So glad I went out fairly early to enjoy it. Sun was shining, ice was melting, temp was warmish (44 degrees, according to weather.com); felt practically like spring! I'm sure it will be back to February reality soon, but I for one am happy that I got to gad about coat-free for a bit today.
Managed to be somewhat productive so far (taking this wee break while some laundry is in and before I make dinner, but I plan to continue in a bit): got some lunch and read my library book, then returned $10 of cans and bottles, did some grocery shopping, came home and put everything away, then cleaned up the kitchen and started some laundry. Not bad for being awake only about four hours so far!
My plan for the rest of the night is to avoid the Superbowl, do lots more laundry, vacuum my bedroom, and maybe tackle my filing cabinet (shudder).
