I think my problem, socks-wise anyway, is that I wear a lot of black pants. I have at least four different pairs of black pants, a couple navy blue, and assorted other colors. I can't wear jeans at work during the week (Saturdays are ok); the mocking usually happens on Saturdays, when I wear sweats or yoga pants or jeans and by then have used up all the black socks I like, and am stuck with the brights. Of course they mock me too because I occasionally wear really bright colored Crocs-knockoffs (they're COMFY)(I have safety orange!) -- I think they think my feet are just fair game for gentle teasing. Or not-so-gentle. Good thing we're pals!
Today I am wearing black shoes, black shirt, black socks, black scrunchie in my hair, and navy blue pants. So again, I'm matching socks to shirt! Ah well.
