One of my vets told me that she has the same problem -- several cats, all the same age, all getting old. My mom used to also have three cats -- a mother cat and two of her kittens -- and they all died within a month of each other at the ages of 19 and 18, which left her devastated.
We've all decided that the next batch of animals will be several years apart in ages...
