So sarcasticah asked for 10 things I love that begin with N. In honor of Edward Gorey, I'll first have to choose  

• Neville Longbottom, my favorite Neville. Not the sort of Neville who would die of ennui; Katherine Neville, my second-favorite Neville, who needs to write more.
• Nick Drake, Nick Lowe, and Nickel Creek. Some awesome music! And Nick Sagan, for a couple of good books and coming from good stock.
• Neil Gaiman, because all authors should be cute and scruffy and wear leather; Neal Stephenson because, well, just because!
• North by Northwest, Notorious, Night at the Opera, Night of the Living Dead (that's the whole movie!), Night of the Living Dead in 30 Seconds with Bunnies, Nightmare Before Christmas, Paul Newman, Jack Nicholson, Kathy Najimy, David Niven, Cynthia Nixon, Sam Neill
• Nuts, almost all kinds; nougat, chewy goodness; nachos, noodles (especially ramen), neapolitan ice cream
• Non-fiction; almost all kinds! Novels — you write 'em, I'll read 'em
• New wave music, new wave film, New York, New Amsterdam, The New York Times, The New Yorker Magazine, new photos, New England, The New Frontier on the album The Nightfly,
• NoteTab Pro, the best text editor I know
• My Nana (sadly deceased)
• NOW, NARAL, NEA, Nation, New Republic, because I am a good liberal; North Shore Animal League, because I am a good human
