Sulking!

I live 8 miles from where I work, give or take. It took me THREE hours to drive home today. THREE HOURS. I left work at 2:22pm, got home at 5:30pm. Unbelievable. I hate every person who has ever so much as SAT in a car in this state. And I especially hate every person who becomes an instant 90-year-old the minute a snowflake hits the ground!

I am going to lie in bed sulking for the entire rest of the night. So THERE.

Hey, at least you were warm and dry in your car. We ended up walking home from Oak Grove because the lovely MBTA decided that buses weren't really necessary.

Oh, how miserable! And yeah, I was warm and dry, but I hadn't had lunch so I was starving the whole time, but I didn't want to pull over and get anything because then it would take LONGER!! Ugh. What a day. Sorry for your walking!

Now I return to sulking...

Hey, people there are supposed to know how to drive in the snow there! So not fair.

And three hours, well, I believe you, but still, that's unbelievable.

I hope you're done sulking, because you deserve some fun now. Good book? Oh, and food, obviously.

Yeah, watching tivoed telly right now. About to stop and read for a while before sleep. Not looking forward to the AM, since the landlord hasn't cleared the driveway yet. He's a bit of a slacker; he ALWAYS waits until the storm is completely finished before he even starts. Since there's something like 9 inches out there, he's going to have quite a job in the morning, and I don't know how early he'll start (they have a three year old and a newborn, so they don't have a lot of time!). He's got a snowblower, so I'm hoping the Call Of the Cool Equipment guy thing hits him early enough!

Gah, how miserable. LilBro spent six hours getting home, and this is after he waited until most of the traffic cleared. I don't look forward to having to commute again soon.
