In which I am a huge geek!

OK, so it only took an hour and 40 minutes to get my grubby hands on it. But it was 1:40 that started at midnight!

But I think it was worth it.

Potter!

Now to read!

Good Lord, I thought you meant you had READ it in an hour and 40 minutes! And here I am gloating that I read it in just over 5 hours... (I've been doing a little dance and singing "I know how it ends!" at Jeff. Because I am 5 years old.)

Oh, Ha! I suppose I was not clear at all. That's what I get for posting at 2am. No, waiting in line to buy it took 1:40 at the Saugus Barnes and Noble. And I haven't finished it yet, because I am savouring every moment -- and because I had to work yesterday! I am in fact only a little over 1/3 thru.

I went back to the Saugus B&N last night, wondering how many they had left (and mostly to use their bathroom) and they didn't have enough left to sell to non-pre-ordered people! They were keeping what they had behind the counter, so I guess I'm glad I went thru the midnight rigamarole. [I'm sure it's in every store on the planet, but I like my discount!]

I have a coworker who's into the bit-torrent thing, and she got it in advance and read the whole thing before it even went on sale. I had to almost beat her to keep her from saying anything. And another coworker grabbed my copy and read the last page and said "I know how it eeeennnnnddddsss!" -- but she's never read any of the series before. I told her I'd poison her snacks if she told me.

And now I have to continue to avoid my friends page and the rest of the internet and finish the damned thing!

I now know how it ends! I now know how it ennnnds! If Jeff hasn't finished yet, tell him NYAH NYAH from me, too.
