I am also wiped out just looking at it, and I didn't even do it. Though I did put my tax bits and pieces in a file. (The Inland Revenue doesn't trust taxpayers to calculate it themselves, unless they're self-employed. For which I am rather grateful.)

What's wrong with lively socks once in a while? I used to be black-socks-only, but have since got over this. Today's socks are white with big red cherries and green leaves; my jeans are black, and so are my trainers. But hey, I didn't go anywhere dressy today.

For Valentine's day, I admit, I have new black socks with red hearts on. (J and I give each other cards, but that's enough for us. I told you, didn't I, that Greykitty and Sam's hug photo was on last year's card to J?)
