Ick. That's all I have to say about that restaurant. The bread brought to the table at the beginning of your "dining experience" looks and tastes like it's been sitting on a counter somewhere since the Reagan administration. The water is plentiful, but would it kill them to give you cups bigger than those you'd find at a dentist's office?
The scallops were okay, but if you can't make decent broiled scallops in Boston, you should be run out of town on a rail. The rest of the meal was garbage, and the stuff other people ordered looked horrid. That "fish stew" had a sheen of oil on the top that made me want to lose my lunch (which I thankfully had before we ate there), and I have no idea what kind of seafood was included...it looked like several chunks of scrod and some canned chunk-light tuna in a watery broth.
The service was miserable, which is fine if you're going to pay dirt-cheap, but the prices weren't any better than, say, Kelly's, and at Kelly's you always get fantastic food and quick service. Plus, at the Kelly's on Route 1, the ambiance is fun and the place is clean. (This place wasn't dirty, but it sure as hell wasn't clean.)
